Yum! can I get a plate?

Great job. Looks like it’s kept nice and simple, like the traditional french version should be! A la Julia Childs!
I made one last week. My beef stock was made from scratch the day before, and then aside from preparing chuck steak, carrots and onions, I added equal parts red pinot noir – then simmered for 6 hours 😍😍

It looks great, OP. I would devour that shit.

Looks great. And I’d be happy with that. Personal preference, I’d lose the carrots that were cooked with the beef. They’ve done their job. Those carrots on the side look amazing 👏

This looks so delicious! I love making boeuf bourguignon and coq au vin. I always encourage others to make the journey through learning French cooking. It really adds some flavor to one’s life and chef skills.

Ill give you a secret that’ll make this a million dollars. As another suggested, take a table spoon and skim the fat from the edges, this’ll clean up and lighten the dish. Take equal amounts of butter and flour, about a table spoon worth of each, mix thoroughly and stir into the dish until fully dissolved. Cook this for at least 15 mins. This will thicken and add shine thus elevating it into something that’ll cost a good deal of money in a restaurant.
